Dale's MK3 Astra: unleashing the SAAB B204
Dale's MK3 Astra is a testament to unique engineering and track-ready performance. At its core lies a formidable SAAB B204 engine, meticulously integrated and finely tuned with a Maxx ECU. This combination delivers explosive power and precise control, ensuring every run down the quarter-mile is nothing short of electrifying. This build isn't about aesthetics; it's about pure, unadulterated speed, embodying our core principle that performance always comes first.
Paul's MK3 BAstra:
What originally began as a standard 1994 Astra Merit has been transformed into a lethal front wheel drive weapon. Paul’s Astra packs a massive 550bhp from its SAAB B204 heart and a roaring GTX3582R turbo. Controlled by a MaxxECU Race setup with top secret internal upgrades, this machine has clocked an incredible 10.92 second quarter mile at 135mph. Fitted with a custom Paul Spec drivetrain, a full roll cage, and a Stroud parachute to haul it down from speed, this car is the definition of pure, unadulterated performance.
Steven's Vanimal: a legend reborn
Steven, the original chief of HB RACING and the very individual who ignited this journey, is currently deep into the rebuild of his legendary MK4 Astra Van. This project is more than just a restoration; it's a revival of a track veteran, destined to return stronger and faster than ever. When complete, this van will encapsulate the raw, gritty spirit of HB RACING – a vehicle built purely for its quarter-mile capabilities, echoing Steven's foundational vision of speed above all else.
Raymond's Corsa B: the C20XE beast
Raymond’s Corsa B is a compact powerhouse, featuring the iconic C20XE engine enhanced with individual throttle bodies. This setup not only optimises air intake for maximum performance but also delivers that distinctive, aggressive engine note that only a finely tuned C20XE can produce. This Corsa B is a prime example of our commitment to performance, proving that even smaller chassis can house immense power and deliver exhilarating track experiences.
